今天，我能站在这里发言，心中无比的兴奋和自豪，对我的学校，老师更是充满了感激，是您们让我爱上了读书，是您们给了我发挥才能的平台，我才会在书法比赛中获得了三等奖，在口算比赛中获得了二等奖，在故事大王比赛中获得了二等奖，在读写比赛中获得了三等奖，在演讲比赛中脱颖而出，喜获一等奖，并且荣获校级三好学生的称号。

作为一名班长，我时时告诫自己要有担当，要成为一名出色的领航员，做同学们的好榜样，当老师的得力助手，不但要管好班上的纪侓，而且要帮助同学们热爱学习。最难忘的是前段时间，我们的班主任曾老师摔倒骨折了，住了十几天院，曾老师在病床上再三嘱咐我，在关键时刻要勇挑重担，履行一名班长的职责，我除了管好班上的纪律，还像老师一样，天天教同学们认生字，组词，因为个子不够高，就爬上凳子去抄写，硬是自学完了几课的生字，还得到了代课的张静老师的肯定和表扬。

我也记得，在最初得知老师住院的消息时，我伤心地在黑板上画了几个大红的爱心为曾老师祈祷，并布置同学们写一篇祝曾老师早日康复的小作文，还在杨老师的带领下，组织同学们去医院看望亲爱的曾老师，当同学们非常想念曾老师时，我又让他们写一篇盼望曾老师早日归来的小作文，并打电话把那些表达同学们浓浓的思念之情的佳作读给曾老师听，感动的曾老师声音哽咽，热泪盈眶，并做出了不再休一个月的病假，而是拖着带伤的身躯回到爱她的孩子们中间的决定，也让我们感受到了曾老师对我们深沉的爱。

今后，我会慢慢长大，也一定会在成长过程中，扬长避短，一边体会师生之间的互敬互爱，一边体会成长带来的乐趣，我想作为一名沙小人，要是给我更大更多的平台，我的成长经历一定是最难忘的，我的成长过程一定是最幸福，最快乐，最有意义的！

what's the ideal society? it's a society no one worries about their living, a society no one is refused from education, a society everyone can pursue his/her own happiness! the ideal society is filled with love, joy and kindness. in that society, we can touch the other's hearts, we can share our dreams and most important, we can just be the true men!

首先我想与大家分享一个有趣的故事：这个故事发生在古希腊。开学第一天，大哲学家苏格拉底对学生说：“今天咱们只学一件最简单也是最容易做的事。每人把胳膊尽量往前甩。”说着，苏格拉底示范了一遍，并要求学生们从今天开始，每天做300下，学生们都笑了，这么简单的事，有什么做不到的!可过了一个月，苏格拉底再问学生们，能够坚持下来还有90%。又过了一个月，坚持下来的学生只剩下八成。一年后，苏格拉底再一次问大家，这时，整个教室里，只有一人举起了手。这个学生就是后来成为古希腊另一位大哲学家的柏拉图。

这个小故事所蕴含的深刻含意是显而易见的，的确，我们干什么事，要取得成功，坚持不懈的毅力和持之以恒的精神都是必不可少的。成功之路，贵在坚持。谁能坚持到底，谁应能获得成功，众所周知，贝尔发明了电话，可他所做的仅仅是将电话中一个螺母转动了4.1周，而之前的大量工作是由爱迪生等科学家完成的。双方为此走上了法庭，法庭最终将发明权判给贝尔。原因是爱迪生等科学家虽然做了大量工作，但还是放弃了对电话的研究。可贝尔没有放弃，正是那4.1周，使电话有了实际用途，爱迪生等科学家并非没有那个能力，只是在发明电话时缺少了一份坚持，才会与成功擦身而过，有许多伟大成就都正在于一份坚持。

九十九度加一度水就开了。开水与温水的在于这一度之差。有些事之所以天壤之别，往往也正因为这一度之差。同学们，当困难拌住你成功脚步的时候;当失败挫伤你进取雄心的时候;当负担压得你喘不过气的时候，不要退缩，不要放弃，一定要坚持下去，因为只有坚持不懈，才能走向成功!

my hometown is lhasa, the largest city on the roof of the world. it is the heart and soul of tibet. i think lhasa is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. it is surrounded by towering mountains and rarely a day goes by when you don' t see the deep blue sky. lhasa river is flowing quietly around the city.

lhasa is the mixture of tradition and fashion.

firstly, lhasa has a long history. it is the political, cultural and economic center of tibet. it has lots of famous sights to offer. the potala palace is the most famous, a magnificent and wonderful place to look at. in my opinion it is a unique artistic achievement of the tibetan people. likewise, the architecture, carvings and paintings throughout the city show hard work, wisdom and bravery of our people.

secondly, led by the reforming and opening policy of china, lhasa has changed a lot. many new things have arrived up here, changing the face of the city. the old and new lie side by side in lhasa.

many new buildings, schools and roads have been built here. furthermore, the qing-zang railway leading to lhasa is being built. many shopping centers have been opened, and modern technology like telecommunications is spreading. the whole city looks prosperous, and our tibetan people take on a new look. every festival, people walk around freely on the new, wide and smooth streets, wearing the beautiful traditional costumes.

right now, i am looking forward to a festival called shodün which comes in june for eating yoghurt. at this time, all my family and i gather for a picnic together at the norbulinka, a famous garden. in the garden, we sing tibetan songs, dance guo zhuang on the grass; eat zanba, drink butter tea and barley beer on the beautiful carpet as well. we enjoy our life. i think that this festival exhibits the open-minded and optimistic character of the tibetan people.

finally, i love my hometown. i love the people in my hometown..

我的家乡是拉萨，它位于世界屋脊。我认为拉萨是世界上最美丽的城市之一，它的周围是高耸入云的山脉，几乎你天天都能看到湛蓝的天空，拉萨河围绕着这座城市缓缓地流淌着。

拉萨是一个传统和时尚的结合体。

首先，拉萨有悠久的历史，灿烂的文化。拉萨是西藏的政治、文化、经济中心，并且有许多闻名遐迩的名胜古迹，布达拉宫雄伟壮观，金碧辉煌，是一个值得一看的地方，我认为它是西藏人民独特艺术成就，而且拉萨市的建筑、雕刻和绘画是西藏人民勤劳、勇敢和智慧的结晶。

其次，自改革开放以来，拉萨发生了很大变化，许多新事物层出不穷，改变了拉萨的面貌，古老与现代并存。

多种风格的建筑拔地而起，现代化的学校被建起，宽畅的公路被修建，通向拉萨的青藏铁路正在施工，现代高科技在拉萨延伸，整个城市呈现一派繁荣景象，拉萨人民呈现新的面貌，每逢节日，他们穿着节日盛装，自在地走在大街上。

现在我正期待着雪顿节的到来，这个节日在六月初，是一个吃酸奶的节日，当这个节日到来的时候，我和我的家人、朋友聚在一起在有名的公园-罗布林卡里面野餐。我们在草地上一起唱藏歌，跳锅庄舞;踏着美丽的藏式地毯吃糌粑、喝酥油茶和青稞酒，享受我们幸福的生活，我认为这个节日展示了西藏人民开朗、乐观的性格。

有人曾说：“方圆齐用，功效俱呈。”处于青年时代的我们却常显刚烈有余而圆润不足，不懂处世之道常让青年人在社会浪潮中屡遭打击。因而作为青年人，我认为要适当收锋芒，提升自己处世之道是十分必要的。

海纳百川，有容乃大，用包容打造“圆”的基础。青年人激情澎湃，追求个性、探寻独立也为时代所需要。但青年人的胸怀却难以容下自己的激情。而成大事者，未有无宽广胸怀者。曹操容下许攸，成就官渡之战的辉煌;蔺相如宽容廉颇，成就了“将相和”的佳话。有人说：“要想自己被社会包容，就要有包容社会的肚量。”青年刚迈入社会，难免会对社会的种种弊端怒不可遏，但如果我们能退一步，多宽容一些，是不是就达到了海阔天空的境界呢?

心静如止水，用冷静作为圆的润滑剂。刚烈而又易激动是青年人的一大特色。激动往往使我们失误，以致作出错误的判断。这时，保持冷静是青年人与世相处的另一个好方法。冷静使我们保持清醒，似隔热层对于火箭，缰绳对于骏马，能束缚住情感，使情感不至于失控。这样当我们遇到社会不公时，就不至于让情绪成为与社会相处时的摩擦力。

我并不是只看重圆，方圆合一，方显人生智慧。只是在我看来，方是每个青年人本来具有的，而如何做圆正是我希望所有同龄人去学的。因而我想说：“把心放宽一些吧，何必要让一些小事折磨你美好的心灵呢?保持冷静吧，日本又拜神社，砸汽车岂能解决?城管凶悍，打人又有何用?”冷静、包容是成圆之道。

一直以来，体育都是我的弱项，大家也常常拿着体育来嘲笑我，让我沮丧不已却又无能为力，心底埋藏着深深的不服气。于是为了提高自己的体育，我在周六周日的网球训练中总格外卖力，最累的体能训练我也坚持了下来，我慢慢对自己有了信心，我相信自己一定可以。终于，学校决定进行一次体育测试，我既紧张又激动，希望在测试中“一雪前耻”，不再受他人的嘲笑。

可就在这时，又一次失败让我心情跌到了谷底:体育课上老师决定先来一次小的800米测试，我惴惴不安地踏上跑道，随着老师一声令下，跌跌撞撞的冲出起点，但我没能跑完400米就放弃了。再一次看着别人不屑的眼神，我在心中狠狠的责骂着自己，我恨自己甚至没能坚持到最后，恨自己的懦弱，我告诉自己，无论结果如何，哪怕挂在队尾，也一定要坚持。我终于再次坚定了信念。

到了测试的日子，我不由得紧张起来，想寻求一下安慰，可看看四周，朋友们都是一脸严肃，忙着准备自己的，哪里又管得了我。我深出一口气，平复一下自己乱糟糟的心情，和大家一起站在了起跑线上做好了准备。开始跑了，大家你挤我，我挤你，逐渐排成了一列，我跑在第四位。我努力调整着呼吸和节奏，耳边静的出奇，只听到呼呼的风声和自己沉重的脚步声。我像是一个机器人，机械的跑着，跑着。快400米了，我的呼吸越来越急促，不由的大口大口地喘着气，眼前的跑道也有点模糊......又是上次的情形!我急忙在心中一遍遍告诉自己：一定要坚持下来，绝不能放弃!这句话在我脑海里一遍遍回旋，给了我不少的动力。慢慢的，700米快到了，我前面的好友似乎也有些体力不支，我追上了她，在她旁边时，我小声对她说：“坚持住!”她有点惊讶，微微点了点头，艰难地支撑着，跟在我的身后。我看到胜利就在前方，我开始了冲刺，我用自己尽可能最快的速度跑完了最后的一百米，我紧跟着第二名冲过了终点!那一刻，我感到自己的世界仿佛是春暖花开，在旁边观看的一名同学为我们竖起了大拇指。绷了一下午的心终于放松了下来，那时我知道，我终于坚持了下来，战胜并证明了自己：我，一样可以。

那次的坚持让我意识到，坚持的力量是无穷的，只要凡事都做到坚持二字，没有什么能阻挡你前进的步伐。我一定会坚持下去，neversaynever!
