the little prince is a book which the author write for his friend leon werth.so at the beginning the author said,to leon werth when he was a little boy,i will dedicate the book to a child from whom this grown-up grew.all grown-ups were once children.this narrates is lonely ,sad child's story.the story of the little prince of life with a serious attitude,he diligentiy to clear the crater,pulling the monkey bread tree seedlings.

he lives on a young star.one day he left the star which he lives,starts to travel.he passed though various stars,afterward,he arrived the earth.and finally returned to his star.in the traveling,the little prince saw the of all forms person in the society confused:king,which loves the vanity person.the drunkard,for put behind ashamed drinks.the industrialist who only likes calculating the astronomy number typemoney.thier only common ground in the heart fills the vanity.in the travel,the little prince discovered that,the people are the places which always does not will satisfy oneself lives,they are pursuing happiness with hardship,but actually frequently crudely happily expels from the side.he and the author met each other the desert,they gradually have becoming the best friend.they seek native and move together which we had already lose .

"the little prince" tells the story of "i", who was forced to descend into the sahara desert due to a plane crash, and met a small man from the outer planet -- the little prince's fantasy story. through the communication with the little prince, "i know where he was living planet in space adventure with him: he paid a visit to the king, vanity, alcoholic, businessman, lamps and geographer of the planet, finally came to the earth. on earth, he encountered snakes, roses, foxes, reps, traders, and so on, and he understood the truth of life and the nature of life.

i had read frances hodgson burnett's book "the little princess", although the lives of the author of this book, the content is different, but works on the name of coincidence that i couldn't help lenovo, transfer the real meaning of the two books may have in common. "little princess" is one of my favorite books. book that have princess temperament and manner of little sara crewe fascinates me, whether in prosperity or adversity, she maintained the heart pure and noble, maintained a yearning for a better life.

once when i was six years old, i saw a magnificent picture in a book,called true stories from nature, about the primeval forest. it was a picture of a boa constrictor in the act of swallowing an animal. here is a copy of the drawing.

in the book it said:" boa constrictors swallow their prey whole, without chewing it. after that they are not able to move, and they sleep through the six months that they need for digestion."

i pondered deeply, then, over the adventures of the jungle. and after some work with a colored pencil i succeeded in making my first drowing,my drawing number one. it looked like this:

i showed my masterpiece to the grown-ups, and asked them whether the drawing frightened them.

but they answered:"frighten? why should any one be frightened by a hat?"

my drawing was not a picture of a hat. it was a picture of a boa constrictor digesting an elephant. but since the grown-ups were not able to understand it, i made another drawing: i drew the inside of the boa constrictor,so that the grown-ups could see it clearly. they always need to have things explained. my drawing number two looked like this:

the grown-ups response,this time, was to adviseme to lay aside my drawing of boa constrictors,whether from the inside or the outside and devote myself instead to geography, history, arithmetic and grammar. that is why, at the age of six, i gave up what might have been a magnificent career as a painter. i had been disheartened by the failure of my drawing number one and my drawing number two. grown-ups never understand anything by themselves, and it si tiresome for children to be always and forever explaining things to them.

so then i chose another profession, and learned to pilot airplanes.

i have flown a little over all parts of the world:and it is ture that geography has been very useful to me. at a glance i can distinguish china from arizona. if one gets lost in the night,such knowledge is valuable.

in the course of this life i have had a great many encounters with a great many people who have been concerned with matters of consequence. i have lived a great deal among grown-ups. i have seen them intimately, close at hand. and hasn't much improved my opinion of them.

whenever imet one of them who seemed to me at all clearsighted, i tried the experiment of showing him my drowing number one. which i have always kept. i would try to find out, so, if this was a person of true understanding. but, whoever it was, he ,or she, would always say:

"that is a hat."

then i would never talkto that people about boa constrictors, or primeval forest, or stars. i would bring myself down to his level. i would talk to him about bridge, and golf, and politics, and neckties. and the grown-ups would be greatly pleased to have met such a sensible man.

teaches the prince it is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye

what impresses me the most is the fox’s words.love is a strange stuff.sometimes we see it but can’t grasp it.yet, true love may be, to some extent, invisible in surface but may last permanent.apart from love, others as well.indeed,sometimes what we consider right turn out to be wrong,what we consider real proves fictitious,what we confused may just turn out to be the truth.the path in searching for truth may long and time-consuming,we should harbour conviction,b will and high hope.no matter what barriade in front of us,we ought to be couragous and face up to the challenge.
