“天空中有中国人啦！”这是一个多么令人兴奋，多么震惊世界的消息啊。每当我回想起这条消息，回想起2003年10月15日这子，就按奈不住心中的激动，心中的喜悦。

“10、9、8发射”2003年10月15日上午9点正，我一首次自行研制的的“神舟五号”载人航天飞船在北京九泉航天发射中心发射成功了，飞船里载着我国第一批最优秀、最杰出的航天飞行员――杨利伟。此时此刻的我真想放声大喊：“杨叔叔，好样的，你是我们的骄傲。”

杨利伟出生于1965年，他在中国航天技术院里学习、工作，各方面都达到了优秀，而且还是中校军衔。他从1300名飞行员中脱颖而出。如果按全中国人民来算，他可是12亿人里挑一的佼佼者呀！如果没有过硬的本领行吗？没有强壮的体魄行吗？没有良好的心里素质行吗？你知道吗，他为了中国的航天事业，为了世界和平把生命置之度外，为完成这神圣的使命而飞上了太空。你说他能不值得我敬佩吗？他不正是我心中的英雄吗？

杨利伟于1965年6月21日出生在辽宁省绥中县绥中镇。爸爸杨德元、妈妈魏桂兰同在镇里一家中学当教师。每年寒暑假，爸爸有意识地带小利伟去爬山、到六股河去游泳。秋天，带杨利伟去大山里爬树采摘果实。从此，小利伟竟对探险及运动有了兴趣，常常同伙伴跋山涉水野游，登狐仙洞山探访狐洞、寻访古寺遗址，寻觅传说中的“链锁地井”。看完《闪闪的红星》、《小兵张嘎》等战争故事片后，杨利伟央求爸爸帮助同班的小伙伴赶制了红缨枪，毛遂自荐当上了儿童团长。而看了《铁道游击队》后，杨利伟便梦想做火车司机。
