the little prince misses his roses and miss his planet. at last, he fell down quietly, quietly, reading here, i felt a lot of sadness in my heart, but i felt sweet again, because the little prince finally returned to his planet to accompany his love rose.

i read the chinese version of “camille” a few years ago. at that time i was deeply moved by the main character marguerite gautier. “camille” or “the lady of the camellias” by alexandre dumas, fils, is the story of marguerite gautier, a young courtesan, or kept woman, in paris in the mid 1800's, and how she falls in love with a young man, armand duval, and then tries to escape from her questionable past. unfortunately, it comes back to haunt her and she ends up returning to that life and dies painfully and alone, but with the knowledge that she was a noble woman at heart. when i first began to read the book, i did not care for marguerite or her attitude or lifestyle, but as i got further into the narrative, i realized that her saucy attitude was a front to cover the lonely woman that she really was. she felt used, abused and unloved, until the gentle armand duval came into her life and showed her that he loved her as a person and not for what she could do for him.

it must have taken great courage for marguerite to leave the life she had lived for so long, knowing all along that it was probably too good to be true and would not last indefinitely. and it also showed that marguerite really loved armand duval for she could even change herself for him.

however, happiness didn’t last for long. when m. duval, armand's father, came to her, pleading for her to leave armand to save both armand's reputation and that of his younger innocent sister, marguerite saw a way to become pure of heart, if not in body. she felt that it was her duty, because she loved armand so much, to do this even though it meant giving up her own happiness and hurting armand temporarily. she reluctantly returned to her former life, knowing that some day armand would forgive her. sadly, she died in debt and basically alone, except for her one female friend, julie duprat, who helped her during her illness. she had her journal sent to armand after her death, explaining why she had made the choices she had. i think dumas's last few lines about marguerite being the exception, not the rule were quite true, and i also agreed with his view that while her lifestyle could not be condoned, we as a society assume that all of these type of women are cold and heartless, while this may not always be the case.

a person can make the wrong choices in life when they are young, and try to redeem themselves, but sometimes past situations prevent them from changing their lives, even though they desperately wish to do so. this applies to both men and women in many different types of circumstances: involvement in crime; drug or alcohol abuse; gambling; prostitution; financial problems; poor marriage choices; etc. and this is the fact, which exists in the whole society.

as far as the other characters in the book, i think marguerite was right in saying that no one truly cared about her, but only wanted something from her, the only exceptions being armand and julie duprat. of course, the comte de g. and comte de n. wanted her body and appearance. the duke needed to “wake up and smell the coffee” and realize that she could never replace his dead daughter. if he truly cared, he could have helped her leave her lifestyle without “keeping” her himself. and lastly, prudence was a blood-sucking leech who used marguerite almost worse than the men. i also think she was jealous of the fact that marguerite had so much more courage than herself and someone truly loved her.

last morning, when tiding my bookshelf, i took this book out of the shelf, and a dried flower flew away from the book. it was pale blue, very transparent, with thin fine veins. a dried flower flew away from the book. it was pale blue, very transparent, with thin fine veins. i held it against the morning light and blew on it. the soft breeze carried it away. camille is just like the camellia, she could never escape from the destiny of withering. but it wasn’t her fault; it’s because of the evil of capitalism and the hideousness of that society.

suddenly, i remembered a saying: “women are like the flowers”。 those pretty women are like those beautiful flowers; their delicate beauty makes people feel they are the miracle of life. however, even the god envies their beauty. it seems that beautiful women always have tragic endings. as we are normal persons, even we can see the hideousness of humanity that results in their fate of withering, we can at most ask quietly in our hearts: where have those beautiful flowers gone? where have they gone?

用英文写读后感篇3

the story is mainly about the beautiful mathilde, but because he was poor, he could not marry a good family. finally he married a small clerk in the ministry of education. mathilde later borrowed a diamond necklace from a friend in order to show his presence in a department dance. however, after the misunderstanding came back, i found the necklace missing. so, in order to redeem the necklace, mathilde spent ten years of youth and effort, but finally realized that the necklace was actually a fake.

poor marty! just for a diamond necklace, she gave her ten years of youth. ten years later, she was no longer young and beautiful anymore. in maupassant's words, she lost the only capital to be a lady. she sacrificed her youth for this diamond necklace. in fact, in other words, she does not have to pity her. her excessive vanity leads her to taste the bitter fruit of fate. but what is gratifying is that mathilde came to maturity after all the hardships.

after reading the story, everyone might think that all the evil results were caused by the vain love of rosse wahl, so she was not worth the pitiful, even a bit of mockery in the laughter. but, the mind slowly fluttered out a question: what was the power of a delicate and delicate woman who would choose to repay the road? they had no hesitation, and they quietly chose a thorny way of life to walk each day with their lips. hard labor and life drew back her unrealistic fantasies from the clouds to the solid ground. at this point i could not help but applaud rosa wahl.

at this time, in my mind, when rosse wahl told his friend ten years later to confess that the necklace was the other one, she had a smile of pride and innocence. perhaps this was the most beautiful smile in the world. although luo sewall's appearance had not been bought in the year, she had a self at this time. respecting the noble spirit. in the balance of beauty and personality, she did not hesitate at all, and said decisively, "return!"

after the necklace is lost, the two codes of youthful beauty and dignity are placed on the balance of life, forcing her to make a choice. she decided to give up her youth and choose dignity. the most important moment in life is to learn to give up and give up is also a kind of beauty. so is it very small for her to "destroy" her or to fulfill her? at first, mathilde was captured by a strong and fearful vanity. later, she made a surprising decision without hesitation. finally, when she met her friend who was still young and beautiful, when she learned the truth about the fake necklace, she had a bright and innocent smile on her face. the smile was her confidence and pride.

the novel's thought-provoking part is that we have seen a heart of gold in a dirty, false, worship society, a lotus flower that is not dyed with mud. unfortunately, mathilde was unfortunate that she was unfortunate to add trouble to what she couldn't get, and she was a lucky man, the cruel reality made her sober, life was not just the illusion of the fog, but more step by step.

用英文写读后感篇4

in the history of literature, there are many classical means to be immortal, but can look like "jane eyre" so deeply into people's souls, it has attracted tens of thousands of readers with an irresistible beauty, affecting people's spiritual world, even for some people, affect their lives is not a lot of work. jane love 1000 words

jane eyre is a novel with rotation color. it illustrates such a theme: human value = dignity + love.

jane eyre's author, charlotte bront, and author of wuthering heights, emily, are sisters. although two people living in the same community, family environment, personality is not the same, charlotte. bront has become more gentle, more pure, more love the pursuit of some good things, although her family was poor, young lost love, father rarely, coupled with her short stature, appearance is not beautiful but, perhaps such a soul deep inferiority complex, reflected in her character is a very sensitive self-esteem, self-esteem in her heart to the inferiority of the compensation. she describes jane. love is a beautiful, short woman, but she has a very strong sense of self-respect. she was steadfast in her pursuit of a bright, holy, and beautiful life.

jane. love living in an orphaned, happy environment, grew up under treatment with peers, aunt abandon, cousin of contempt, insults and beatings cousin...... this is the dignity of the ruthless trample, but perhaps it is because of all this, jane. love unlimited confidence and firm and inflexible spirit, which can overcome the inherent personality.

in front of rochester, she never because he is a low status of the family teachers feel inferior, but that they are equal. should not be because she is a servant, but not respected by others. it is because of her integrity, noble, pure, spiritual not secular society of pollution, making rochester the shocked, and she can be seen as a spirit of equality and in their conversation, and slowly fell in love with her. in his heart, she moved, she accepted him. and when they get married that day, jane. love to know rochester has a wife, she felt she must leave, she said, "i want to follow god's law issued by the world recognized, i want to hold on to me awake and not like this madness is now accepted the principle", i will firmly hold this position". this is jane eyre tells rochester she must leave the grounds, but from the heart, a deeper thing was jane realized that he had been deceived, her pride was teasing, because she loves rochester, which woman can withstand the most trusted by oneself, closest to deceive people jane? love bear to live, but also to make a very rational decision. in this surrounded by a very powerful force of love, in a beautiful, prosperous life under the temptation, she still must adhere to their own personal dignity, this is jane eyre most has the spirit of place.

novel design of a very bright at the end - although rochester's manor destroyed, he himself became a disability, but we see that it is such a condition, so that jane is no contradiction between love and dignity, and at the same time be met when she married in rochester and there is dignity at the same time, there is love.

the novel tells us that the best human life is human dignity and love, and the ending of the novel is such a kind of life for the heroine. although i think such an outcome is too perfect, even such a superficial marks itself, but i still respect the ideal -- the author of this wonderful life is the dignity and love, after all, in today's society, the people's value = dignity + love this formula to pay to achieve often cannot do without the help of money. people seem crazy to drown love for money and status. between the poor and the rich, choose between rich and poor, choose between love and not love. few people, like jane, abandon everything for love and for personality, and proceed without hesitation. "jane eyre" show to us is a simplified, is a kind of recover the original simplicity is a dedicated pursuit, a feeling, no gain or loss is a simplified feelings, it is like a cup of water, purify every reader's heart, also cause readers, especially female readers.

用英文写读后感篇5

the view of pride and prejudice

pride and prejudice is my favorite novel, which impresses me for a long time. it describes a love story mainly between elisabeth, who i like the best, and a rich and proud man, darcy.

the story began with the arrival of a crowd of rich men who rent a house near the bennet. in a ball, elisabeth gave such a bad impression on darcy's first pride that she refused darcy's first proposal. darcy was so surprised by elisabeth's refusal that he loved elisabeth more deeply. and elisabeth's antipathy made darcy realize his shortcomings. he was not angry about elisabeth's censure, but also he changed his previous proud attitude. during elisabeth's travel in darcy's manor。 darcy was very nice to her uncle and aunt, different from previous proud attitude. when one of elisabeth's sisters ran away with wickham, darcy helped elisabeth find her sister and prevent her sister from the loss of reputation, with nobody knowing that it was he who helped the bennet. so many changes in darcy eliminated elisabeth's prejudice. at last it end with their marriage.

taking the daily life as its material, this story reflected the life and love in a conservative and blocking england town. it reflected the author's view about marriage that it is fault to marry for property, money and status and it is also foolish to take these elements into account. in fact darcy's pride manifested the gap between their statuses(地位)。 since his pride existed, there is no ideal marriage between elisabeth and darcy. from the different attitudes from darcy's two proposals, it reflected the feminine pursuit of personality independence and right equality, which is a progressive character from the image of elisabeth.

用英文写读后感篇6

many people simply regard pride and prejudice as a love story, but in my opinion, this book is an illustration of the society at that time. she perfectly reflected the relation between money and marriage at her time and gave the people in her works vivid characters.

the characters have their own personalities. mrs. bennet is a woman who makes great efforts to marry off her daughters. mr. bingley is a friendly young man, but his friend, mr. darcy, is a very proud man who seems to always feel superior. even the five daughters in bennet family are very different. jane is simple, innocent and never speaks evil of others. elizabeth is a clever girl who always has her own opinion. mary likes reading classic books. (actually she is a pedant.) kitty doesnt have her own opinion but likes to follow her sister, lydia. lydia is a girl who follows exotic things, handsome man, and is somehow a little profligate. when i read the book, i can always find the same personalities in the society now. that is why i think this book is indeed the representative of the society in britain in the 18th century.

the family of gentleman in the countryside is jane austens favourite topic. but this little topic can reflect big problems. it concludes the stratum situation and economic relationships in britain in her century. you can find these from the very beginning of this book.

the first sentence in this book is impressive. it reads: “it is a truth well known to all the world that an unmarried man in possession of a large fortune must be in need of a wife”。 the undertone is very clear: the foundation of the marriage at that time is not emotion but possession.

people always think that austen was an expert at telling love stories. in fact, the marriage in her book is not the result of love, but the result of economic needs. after reading this book, i know the truth is that a poor woman must be in need of a husband, a wealthy man.

i couldnt forget how eager mrs. bennet wants to marry off her daughters. if you want to know why she is so crazy about these things, i must mention the situation in britain at that time. only the eldest son had the privilege of inheriting his fathers possessions. younger sons and daughters who are used to luxurious lives have no choice but marry a man or woman in possession of a large fortune to continue their comfortable lives. thus, we can see that getting married is a way to become wealthier, particularly for women without many possessions. jane austen told us that money and possession determined everything, including marriage and love in her century.

in “pride and prejudice”, the sister of mr. bingley strongly opposed his plan of marrying jane because the bennets dont have many possessions and their social positions are much lower than them. from this, we can see there are a lot of obstacles for a not very rich woman to marry a wealthy husband. the society, the relatives would not allow them to get married.

in modern society, although the marriages of economic needs have decreased rapidly, the concept of “money determines everything” is still rooted in some peoples mind. a lot of parents try hard to interfere their childrens marriages. education background, possessions, jobs remains the main reason that may influence ones marriage. marry for money is still a big problem in our society. we cant help thinking: can money determine everything?

austen left this problem for us to think. the genius of jane austen lies in this perfect simplicity, the simplicity that reflects big problems. although austen was only 21 when she wrote “pride and prejudice”, her sharp observation of social lives makes the style of this book surprisingly mature and lively. the plots in her works are always very natural. the development of the plot is as inevitable as a problem in mathematics. i think the depth of pride and prejudice is the reason that makes this book prominent and classic. today, her book still can be the guide telling us the economic relationships both at her time and in modern time.

summary

my name was jim hawkins. an old seaman called bill came to my father’s inn. he asked me to keep my eyes open for a seaman with one leg. but one day, a man named black dog came to the inn suddenly. and he fighted with bill for something. black dog ran away with his blood running down. and bill lay on the floor when he was going to leave.

then the blind man came and gave bill a black spot. but bill died just then. i told mother that i knew. and then my mother and i decided to ask for help in the neighboring village, but failed. fortunately, several men were willing to ride to dr liversery. and my mother and i went back to the inn to get our lawful money, and i took the oil cloth packet of pa-pe-rs. then we ran away and hid under the bridge. the blind man brought some other pirates in the inn for the oil cloth packet of pa-pe-rs, and failed, of course. but the blind man didn’t believe. so they quarreled when dirk sent signals to let them run away. and the blind man was left along and killed by the running houses.

we rode to dr liversery’s house. i gave the oil cloth packet of pa-pe-rs to him. and we decided to ready to find that money. several days later, a letter came and asked red ruth and i to go to bristol. the squire gave me a note to take to john silver when i arrived here. and i found the black dog was also here and ran away. john deceived me into believing his innocence.

the captain was a sharp man and he was afraid of a mutiny. so we moved the powder and arms to the room near by ours. then we started the voyage. the voyage was very good, except mr. arrow. he drank too much after a day or two at sea. at last, he disappeared entirely with no reason. before arrived the island, i want a apple. but the apple barrel was nearly empty, so i had to climb into it, and had a sleep there. when i was awake, i heard that silver asked dick to join him to create a mutiny. and so did dick. they wanted to kill us on the island. i told all i had known to my friend.

when we arrived in the island, some of them carelessly obey orders. the captain decided to make some of them go to the island for keeping them calm and let the mutiny came late. i quickly went over the ship’s side and into the nearest boat. i arrived first and ran towards the trees. and then i witnessed that silver killed tom and admitted having killed alan. because they didn’t join silver. i was scared. i left there as silent as i could, and met ben gunn who had lived on the island for 3 years. my friends’ boat was turned over by wind. all of our stores sank to the bottom, and only two guns of five could be used. they found the stockade and stayed here after they landed. ben gunn killed one of pirate at night. so silver came to talk about peace, but failed. after an hour, fighting began. our defence was very good, and we had a good place -----in the house. so we wan first. then dr liversery was going to see ben. and i went away secretly with filling both pockets of my coat with food. i took the boat which made by ben gunn to cut the “hispania” loose. after that, i climbed onto the ship, and striked the pirate’s flag , and killed israel hands before he killed me.

i climbed down the rope and left the “hispania” on the bay. i found that my friends were not in the stockade when i walked in. i was survived by silver. because other pirates all wanted to kill me. but silver persuaded them to not do it. i also knew that dr liversery gave the map to silver. so they decided to search the money.

they difficultly found the place where the treasure was. but the money was missing. because gunn had moved it to a hole. the other pirates were very angry, and ready to kill silver and me. but dr liversery ,gunn and gray saved us. one of them was shotted to die, and others ran away.

the end of the adventure was that we removed the treasure to the ship, and left the tree pirates on the island. silver went back with us because dr liversery had promised to him.

comment

after reading this book, i admire the little dramatis personae very much. and it make me feeling more. jim hawkins was a timid and shy boy at first. at the beginning of the voyage, jim was only a waiter in the cabin. but he was able to fight with enemys, and recapture the ship from the enemys at last. although he was always prone to became actuation. his courage and insight that had been represented make me admirable. i have learned many things from him, like brave, resource, accommodating and so on. if we also have the spirit that jim has, many difficult questions must be readily solved.

用英文写读后感篇8

i have read many books, which i learned a lot of knowledge, let me know a lot of truth in life, including a book, let me experience a deep, it is a famous writer ernest hemingway wrote, "hits."

"hits" this book talked about such a story, old fisherman santiago de cuba consecutive 84 days did not catch the fish, was another loser as a fisherman, but he was persistent, and finally caught a big marlin large marlins his boat dragged on for three days at sea, exhausted, was tied to the boat he was killed on one side, and then return journey repeatedly been shark attacks, he has exhausted all means to counterattack. back to hong kong only the head and a fish tail spine. although the fish have bitten gone, but what can not destroy the will of his bravery. this book reveals to us a truth: people are not born to fail, and a person can be destroyed, but can not be defeated.

before i do anything as long as there is one point does not work well, they will retreat, and sometimes even say a few words dejected to say. in learning, i have a few tests as long as there is not very good there will be no confidence that their getting good grades. "hits", the hero fighting with the shark, shark harpoon was taken away, he put the knife blade tied to tie chaos. knife broke, he used truncheons. batons have lost, and he used the rudder to e to play. this book reveals the truth, not to explain a man no matter what my greatest fear is the lack of confidence. confidence is like a motor car, is a human motivation. if you do one thing with the confidence, you mean half the battle. the hero in this book are full of confidence and perseverance, not exactly what i indispensable?

since reading this book, i know that his lack of learning is no longer due to a loss of confidence in the two do not go well, but more poorly in an exam, the more to be a good test. in the final exam the day, the morning two homework results, i do not have a certain class of students is good, but i admit defeat, but confidence that the determination to fight a turnaround. language examinations in the afternoon, i have done every road topics are especially careful. sure enough, i was class of the first language examinations, total score, i am also a first.

in the future, i do not care what difficulties we encountered, we must face with confidence, persist in the end, and never retreat. i want to thank the book, for which i have learned so much, thank it for me to understand so many reasons, for it let me know his own shortings and correct their shortings in time, so i became a socially useful people.

"hits", the lonely old fisherman santiago has been not only be tough guy, his spiritual values embodied in the body is entirely the spirit of the ancient greek tragedy, a modern echo. in the "hits", the hemingway finally for his beloved tough guy to find the soul, this soul is everlasting eternal values of mankind. thus, in the "hits", the tough-guy character of santiago's fortitude has bee the novel's surface. by santiago tough-guy character to praise the eternal values of mankind, became the real theme of the novel. "hits" and demonstrated what eternal value?

the first is people's self-confidence. santiago consecutive 84 days at sea, and did not catch a fish. however, the "pair of eyes, ah, like water, like blue, is happy, not depressed." originally to follow santiago on fishing expeditions children, spoke of his father called him to the other boat and said, : "he did not much self-confidence." "yes." the old man said, "but we have, you say is not it?"

santiago in self-confidence is absolute self-confidence, is not to environmental change and changes in self-confidence, it does not pare with others, self-confidence. in santiago's philosophy of existence, even when confronted with a pole of the unlucky people can only self-confidence.

people alive, the only way to determine the necessity, that is, to death. in addition, there is no bound to what can rely on. since the person is alive by chance, then the courage to support human life, the only confident. if we lose self-confidence, in the continuing unlucky so many days after the santiago there is the courage and perseverance on fishing expeditions do? therefore, people live to be confident, not self-confidence is for human consumption can not afford luxury. it is precisely because santiago had an absolute self-confidence, he was called away to the children to express a plete tolerance and understanding. here, hemingway has demonstrated the link between self-confidence and tolerance. "hits" in the main space, describing the lonely old fisherman santiago, in the open sea and in large marlin and a variety of sharks entangled, fought for three days and three nights experience. by hemingway fullest description, we felt the santiago desperate struggle with the fate of the heroic and noble. last drag home for the elderly only a 18 feet-long fish skeleton, the only plete skeleton is the head and beautiful fish tail.

from the physical point of view, elderly people fought for three days and three nights a result of failure; but the human spirit, from the person's self-confidence self-esteem, courage and destiny from the human to make every effort to struggle for victory santiago .

after all, the true victory can only be a triumph of the spirit. no matter who made much material success, they can not win our respect and thanks. only the spirit and the spirit of victory, it moves us, that we have to follow the elderly and children, for his tragic tears.
